Matthew Hutchinson, DDS

Dr. Matt Hutchinson was raised in Olympia, Washington and grew up enjoying the outdoors, hiking, backpacking, camping and fishing. Dr. Hutchinson earned his undergraduate degree from Washington State University and his dental degree from the University of the Pacific School of Dentistry in San Francisco, graduating in 2005.

Following graduation from dental school, Dr. Hutchinson pursued additional residency training, first as a general practice resident at the Hennepin County Medical Center in Minneapolis. Dr. Hutchinson then returned to California to complete his oral and maxillofacial surgical training at the Alameda County Medical Center in Oakland, CA.

After completion of his training, Dr. Hutchinson was fortunate to return to the Twin Cities and join St. Paul Oral Surgery in July 2010. Dr. Hutchinson practices the full scope of oral surgery, with special interests in outpatient anesthesia, correction of developmental deformities of the maxillofacial region, and care of pediatric patients and patients with special needs.

Dr. Hutchinson is an active member of many associations within dentistry and oral surgery, including the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, the Minnesota Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, the American Dental Society of Anesthesiology, the American Dental Association and its component societies at the state and local levels.

Dr. Hutchinson currently resides in St. Paul with his wife, Krista, and their 2 sons.
